Equal parts whole-foods grocer and community gathering place, the Jackson Hole Grocer building is a top-to-bottom remodel of a 1970’s hardware and home goods facility. This 38,465 square foot building is a study in architectural harmony and simplicity. Incorporating sustainable and maintenance free materials, the Berlin team focused on bringing a wellness-focused design to the forefront. Wood, stone and glass pay homage to the neighboring wilderness, while spacious design mechanics allow for public event space. The Jackson Whole Grocer project included the design and development of integrated affordable employee housing units.
