Set in the heart of Teton Village, this 6,500-square-foot home was shaped by the unique challenge—and opportunity—of a seasonal creek that cuts diagonally across the site. The design responds with two distinct volumes connected by a glass-walled bridge that spans the water below. One volume holds the garage and an elevated great room, while the other contains two levels of private bedroom spaces. Large expanses of glass in both structures frame both mountain and valley views, allowing the home to open fully to its alpine surroundings. The exterior blends reclaimed wood, stone, and metal to ground the building in its rugged context, while the interior contrasts with a crisp, minimalist palette of smooth drywall and refined European windows. Built in 2017, Teton Creek offers a quiet balance of strength and airiness—anchored in place, yet elevated by its thoughtful relationship to land and light.
